Abstract

People are often considered the weakest link in protecting corporate assets. This project created and implemented an information security training module for Wells Fargo Treasury Management Operations to improve security awareness in the division. Key contributing factors to the module include: an intensive analysis on information security awareness and training, the Federal Information Systems Security Educators' Association, detailed analysis on corporate security practices, and employee feedback. The module focused on proper information security practices used at work and relevant personal practices like defeating a social engineer and protecting one's identity. Through the use of a facilitated learning environment, the module empowered employees to protect both themselves and the organization.
