Abstract
Positive management (PM) motivates employees, increases productivity, and accomplishes important organizational goals by creating positive and upbeat relationships with employees. A mythology has arisen in American business that being tough and unreasonable are keys to extracting high productivity from employees. But profound demographic and cultural changes are suggesting just the opposite. People who are difficult to work for will have increasing problems in finding employees, especially highly-educated ones, in the coming decades, and this struggle could seriously hamper your company's ability to accomplish its strategic objectives. This book explains how to achieve higher productivity through positive management and how to use PM in a variety of situations, including difficult and negative ones.
