Abstract
The mini-track “Adaptive AI and Decision Intelligence for Sustainable Systems and Green IS” brings together research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, environmental sustainability, and responsible digital innovation. In line with international sustainability agendas such as the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Agreement, the contributions in this mini-track explore how AI-driven analytics, decision intelligence, and advanced information systems can support climate resilience, green transitions, and more sustainable socio-technical practices. Spanning topics such as Green AI, environmental informatics, sustainable software development, and AI-assisted sustainability reporting, the papers collectively illustrate how emerging technologies, including large language models, edge AI, and intelligent decision-support systems, can be designed and deployed to address complex environmental and organizational challenges.
