Abstract
Technology has grown immensely over the past decade. Several cutting-edge companies are now finding their technology obsolete. Dallas Technical School (DT) is expanding and has realized the need for updates. This project will describe a needs assessment and viable solution for DT. Educational facilities are not able to compete as would a corporate business; therefore the approach of this project will be as cost effective as possible. This includes utilizing as much of the existing infrastructure as possible and purchasing modem, but cost effective technology. This thesis represents a response to a Request for Proposal (RFP) as a complete plan that could immediately be commenced upon approval by DT.
