Abstract
Daktronics supplies visual communication systems worldwide. Its product range from small scoreboard, displays boards for traffic to complete scoring system for all levels of sports competition. Some times due to varying temperature the LED's in the component get destroyed and which could damage the entire display board. To prevent this from happening Daktronics came up with Diagnostic Server project. In the Diagnostic project, the component sends the device status information through the web service. This information is stored in the database for diagnosis. The commands that are to be executed are sent to the component. The response of the component are also sent and stored in the database. Depending upon the seriousness of the issue notifications can be sent to the concerned person.
