Abstract
Holtmeier Photography is a growing photography business without a web presence. A web presence would allow them to reach a broader range of potential clients and would also allow them to provide expanded services to existing customers. The primary objective of this project is to develop a website for Holtmeier Photography. This project applies knowledge and skills gained through the MSIS program to develop a website for Holtmeier Photography. Project Management techniques were utilized to organize and manage the project. E-Commerce concepts were applied in the analysis and design phases of the project to design a site that appeals to customers and demonstrates the photographer's abilities. An analysis of web hosting companies was conducted to select a hosting solution. The final deliverable of this project was a completed, functioning website deployed through a web hosting solution. This site allows Holtmeier Photography to attract new customers by outlining their services and demonstrating their work through an online portfolio. Existing customers can contact Holtmeier Photography through email or an online form and can connect to a third party site where they can view proofs and order prints.
