Abstract

This paper involves in the development of online image marketplace. Online images service is growing at amazing speed in the United States. Not only mass media, but also many publishing organizations, commercial designing and advertising companies, electronic media, and other personal users are using all kinds of images. The fast growth of the Internet and digital camera technologies has greatly pushed this trend. This MSIS project is to establish a website- an innovative Internet-based marketplace that brings buyers and sellers to trade images. The principle difference between this web site and the others is that buyers do not purchase images from a website, like what they are doing on existing websites, they buy from sellers directly. This website acts only as a marketplace where buyers can use search engine to find specific items they are interested in, then use their credit cards to purchase from the ones who upload the images on the website The technologies involves in this project are JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, search engine, and shopping cart etc..
