Abstract
Pegasysoft has undertaken the project for one of its clients to provide them customer (e-mail) and their store (store events) information. The client data-warehouse tables and point of sales data would be sourced and processed extensively. The client will use the information for e-mail campaign program. The project module consists of building the customer and store information files, which are build by using Erwin Data Modeler and IBM DataStage server jobs (Extraction Transform Load (ETL) processes). After testing these files are sent to client in a secure mode. For this purpose a secure copy protocol (SCP) connection is established with the help of public and private key pair and connecting to the client server. Upon building the required files, the files are uploaded to the client server on a nightly basis. Also, batch files with WinSCP scripts are created to makes the whole process automated and this way the process will run every night and upload the files to the target server once they are build.
