Abstract

This MSIS project will consist of building a full-service fantasy football website, utilizing dynamically created webpages that will allow participants to take part in a non-traditional fantasy football league. Fantasy Football is a game where participants select or draft a predetermined number of players from NFL roster to compete against other participants. Scoring is determined by the game performance of players where touchdowns, receiving yards, and other statistics are turned into points. The participant with the most points win. The project will be implemented on a 1.8Ghz Dell with 256 RAM running Internet Information Services 5.1 (IIS) on Windows XP Professional Edition with Office XP. The objectives of the project are to create an online fantasy football website, learn more about ASP, CSS and Access, and to learn more about the planning necessary to successfully manage large projects.
