Abstract
A report on the company Debt Alternatives, a debt settlement company, that shows how the company started and the problem that it was faced with in creating new clients and showing how Information Technology can increase the efficiency of the company. The company had no real way to advertise for customers other than paper advertising and word-of-mouth. The creation of a website that would allow Internet precense and use of Internet advertising created a cheap alternative to this problem. The second concern or problem the company was faced with was the storage of client and creditor information. A Visual Basic program utilizing a Microsoft Access database would allow for easy input, easy queries, and easy reporting. This would allow for a much more efficient company behind the scenes.
