Abstract

In an organization there are many issues regarding project management. Managing the projects and the human resource is becoming difficult day by day. This 'Project Management Tool' is an attempt to solve those issues. It mainly helps project managers to monitor and control projects in an organization effectively. Using this tool superiors can assign projects, modules, tasks to their sub-ordinates and can monitor the status. They can also send E-Mails to their sub-ordinates using the E-Mail generation feature. This project also enables the employees to submit their day-to-day work. This project generates three different reports namely project reports which gives details of all the projects, task reports which gives description of all the tasks in an organization and employee reports which gives details of all the employees. This project is developed in asp.net with sql server as back end.
