Abstract
Project captures activities performed by different roles in a real life online store. The project gives real life understanding of _an online store and activities performed by various roles in the supply chain. A customer can request to create login with some information. Store manager will approve the login request. On approval, an approval email would be sent to the customer's email id. Once customer logins, he can be able to select items in his shopping cart, and can also be able to add/remove/n:iodify quantity of goods in shopping cart. Once order is placed, a mail goes to delivery. A mail goes to the manager if the quantity of the ordered item goes lower than the specific quantity. Manager gets the reports about the sales & all the items in the store up to date. This project of online shopping cart enables an end user to shop for a specific item available m the database. The items available in the database for online shopping are apparel, books, mobiles, watches, gifts, consumer durables, kitchen appliances, laptops, iPods and MP3 players and cameras.
