Abstract
Almost every company requires a way to track their employees' performance and calculate the costs of the projects. Mostly, at the end of the day/week, employees send an email to their manager with the list of the tasks they have completed or worked on. Managers/executives make their reports based on employees' manual input. These reports include evaluation of employees' performance, calculation of exact cost of the project and number of employees/resources involved in a particular project. The reports facilitate management to make certain decisions like hiring, firing and salary adjustments to manage human resources and IT projects. This paper will describe a plan to create a Task Track Web Application for ABC, Inc to automate this process. The new system will allow employees to enter their input through user friendly screens; it will also enable executives to create/run customized reports for a better decision making and management of employees/projects/resources.
