Abstract
Developing music albums demands high technology needs for performing its basic operations. The objective of the present project is to create a website where user can download music. The search engine could be used based on various criteria such as artist name, title, genre, album and the site could be updated based on user choice and feedback. The most popular artist information would be updated immediately based on the user ratings. The users could be able to download and sample the music before buying the album. In the quest to break Music Inc, grip on the legal online music market, the best approach is to try an entirely different model. This was accomplished using tools provided by the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) technology such as Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) for talking to database and servlets for business logic and Java Server Pages (JSP) for presentation logic. Thus, we have incorporated a system that not only process album orders from online customers, but also provide the managing staff with significant front ends so as to make their tasks easier, personalized and faster. This system solves the major problem of inconsistency, inaccurate throughput of online transactions and provides the company with reliable and easy to use system.
