Abstract
Information Systems are often seen as the backbone of modern organizations. Information systems can be quite useful for supporting and enhancing critical business activities and processes. Various organizations have leveraged the power and benefits of the Web services to create and automate business transactions. The information system facilitates rapid realization of business goals, integration of independent processes and systems. This project uses website technologies that support business, administration and feed back systems. Together, these provide whole new opportunities for an organization to leverage information accurately, improve the quality and uniformity of decision making. An organization's web site is a interactive tool that allows members, customers, and other relevant players to access information 24 hours a day and perform activities. Web site can save an organization time and money. E-commerce infrastructure helps save time and administration costs by offering services online. Receiving payments over the internet can reduce the collection costs to a fraction of the old ways of invoicing and collection. More and more people are integrating the web site functionality with back office processes to create a truly automated office system.
